The Global Institute for Novel Nicotine (GINN) operates with a leadership team comprised, except for its Director, entirely of volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise to furthering our mission. Apart from the Director, no member of the GINN leadership team, including Steering Committee members, the Science and Standards Committee and associated Working Group Chairs, receives a salary from the organization.
Professional Transparency
As professionals with diverse backgrounds, GINN leadership team members maintain other business interests and professional commitments outside of their volunteer roles with GINN. These external activities enable our leadership to:
- Earn their livelihood
- Maintain industry expertise
- Bring valuable perspectives to GINN
Commitment to Integrity
GINN leadership is committed to:
- Disclosing relevant external business interests to prevent conflicts
- Ensuring that volunteer status never compromises organizational decision-making
- Maintaining the highest ethical standards in all GINN activities
We believe this volunteer model strengthens our organization by attracting passionate leaders who are professionally established in their fields while maintaining operational efficiency.
