The GINN Science and Standards Committee brings together leading experts in toxicology, behavioral science, product testing, and regulatory compliance to guide our scientific agenda. This advisory body plays a central role in ensuring that GINN’s work is grounded in credible, independent research and supports the development of risk-proportionate standards for oral nicotine products.

Through its technical guidance and evidence-based recommendations, the committee helps shape industry best practices, inform policymaker engagement, and uphold GINN’s mission of responsible innovation and harm reduction.

Dr. Nveed Chaudhary – Committee Chair

Dr. Chaudhary brings over 20 years of experience at the intersection of science, regulation, and public health. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry, co-developing the first FDA-approved treatment for pulmonary fibrosis, and holds several patents. With over 25 peer-reviewed publications and a career spanning global markets, Dr. Chaudhary now leads NexCentra Consulting and serves as the Chair of GINN’s Science and Standards Committee. His leadership guides the development of science-based regulatory frameworks and risk-proportionate product standards.
